This 727 was originally delivered to American as N6837 in July 1969, then bought by Express One, converted to a freighter in November 1993, registered N315NE and operated by Emery on behalf of the USPS. By September 2001 the plane had been retired and stored at Goodyear (GYR), yet evidently it escaped the Land of Sand and turned up at some point at Opa Locka and this was one of at least two different sets of titles that it carried there. The plane left for SE Asia in February 2008, was registered TU-TAB and then flew for Gading Sari and Lankan Cargo. it is now derelict at Colombo (CMB). This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
