This Il-18 was built in March 1960 and delivered to Deutsche Lufthansa the following month, subsequently being transferred over to Interflug with the name change in September 1963 and then becoming DDR-STB in September 1981. The plane was withdrawn from service in October 1987 and was then preserved in various locations but is now on the roof of the Da Capo company building in Leipzig.
