Taken when the airport was Berlin-Schönefeld in East Germany. Delivered to Deutsche Lufthansa as DM-STB in 1960. Transferred to Interflug in 1963. Reregistered as DDR-STB in 1981. Withdrawn from use at Berlin-Schönefeld in 1987, Preserved at Aeropark Diepensee from 1994. Moved to Leipzig in 1999 and preserved on the roof of the "Da Capo" company at Karl-Heine-Strasse.

A small museum just South of Schönefeld Airport in a small village called Diepensee. The village and the museum is gone, to make room for the new Berlin Airport.

This Il-18 was built in March 1960 and delivered to Deutsche Lufthansa the following month, subsequently being transferred over to Interflug with the name change in September 1963 and then becoming DDR-STB in September 1981. The plane was withdrawn from service in October 1987 and was then preserved in various locations but is now on the roof of the Da Capo company building in Leipzig.
