This stunning exhibit at the Yorkshire Air Museum is a night-fighter version of this classic WWII all wooden aircraft (note the aerials on the nose) It is actually a composite of several aircraft but seems to be in excellent condition and the engines were being serviced on my visit. The aircraft was moved to Doncaster in 2017 This photo is copyright © Mick Bajcar, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
