One of the founding aircraft of Tony Osborne's British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived from Elstree, I believe, 10 days prior to this photo, on 19 March 1967. A group of young and enthusiastic volunteers are busy exposing the RAF markings. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. By that time NP339/G-AOBW had been vandalised and it was scrapped in 1970. It donated its outer wings to G-ANZJ.
