Operated by the Bentwaters-Woodbridge Flying Cub. My interest in general aviation was sparked by a first visit to this airport several years earlier, at the age of 15, when myself and some school friends cycled here from Hemel Hempstead via Radlett (Handley Page) on the way down and Leavesden on the way back - a distance of about 25 miles.
