VH-SBO returned to the Australian register in January 1979 after five years in Papua New Guinea as P2-SBO and then P2-ANT. It was little used and in January 1981 it was cancelled from the register. On September 15, 1982 it was damaged by a suicidal pilot at Bankstown airport. -SBO was later hauled off by the airport fire service but the nose was removed for preservation.
