Built as USAAF A-28 41-23175 and delivered to Australia as A16-105 in December 1941. Stored from November 1945. To East-West Airlines as VH-EWB in December 1950. Converted to survey aircraft in 1957, becoming VH-EWS and VH-SMO in October 1962. Later operated by Adasta Aerial Surveys and re-registered VH-AGP in May 1967. Withdrawn in November 1971. After storage it joined the Malcolm Long Collection painted as "A16-123" and coded 'FX-F' of 6 Squadron RAAF. Serial later corrected to A16-105.
