Originally VT-CQY as a Dove Type 1 with Airlines India Ltd it was upgraded to a Mark 5 and later re-registered VH-DHD. The aircraft crashed into a house after departing Essendon on 3 December 1993 during a forced landing while in service with owner Ted Rudge.
