Taken on charge by the RAF as X7381 on 14 Jul 1941. To G-ALZF in Mar 1950, to France as F-BGON in Sep 1952. Acquired by Jean Salis circa 1977 and restored. Participated in the 1981 Paris to New York Air Race, with race number 071 and painted with "Blue Way" titles (promoting a cigarette brand). Flown in these RAF markings from the mid 1980s until withdrawn from flying use circa 2010. This photo is copyright © Aad van der Voet, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
