Registered to Basler Flight Services Sep 85 ex French Navy "6" with EPV 56S. Converted to BT-67 Nov 1992. To Policia Nacional de Colombia on 12 Feb 1993 as PNC-0211. Written off Medellin (Colombia) 18 Feb 2009. An explosion occurred as policemen were boarding the plane. The fuselage ruptured and the airplane broke in two. Media reports suggested the explosion was caused by the inadvertent detonation of one or more gas grenades used by ESMAD. The remains of this aircraft were used to rebuild BT-67 C-GEAI which suffered an accident in Antarctica in December 2012.
