This F-4J crashed into sea off southern California on 31 January 1979 after a mid-air collision with TA-4J 154288 (while being operated by VF-121). Based at Kaneohe Bay, but probably somewhere else given VMFAT-101 aircraft in the back. Possibly Yuma. This photo was added on 4 October 2020, and has since been viewed 339 times. |
