This picture shows a brand new F-4J for VF-114, which transitioned from the F-4B to the F-4J between September 1969 and November 1970. It rejoined USS Kity Hawk with its new aircraft in February 1972 for its continuing involvement in the Vietnam war. This aircraft was later upgraded to F-4S and then to QF-4S.
