In the early seventies, German Phantom crews were trained at George AFB using Luftwaffe F-4Fs of the initial batch (this one has German Air force serial 3706). Later, ten F-4Es were bought for this purpose, which had a USAF colour scheme (serials 75-0628/0637). This photo was added on 8 October 2020, and has since been viewed 613 times. |
