On display at the Museum of Flight. This is an original Pfalz D.XII that was brought for evaluation to the USA along with other aircraft after WWI. It was sold as war surplus before going to a museum, then was restored to flying condition and went to another museum. Used by the Luftstreitkräfte in numbers, the D.XII had a slow rate of roll and handled clumsily compared to the Fokker D.VII.
