This photo was taken in the second half of 1972, when this Phantom had just transferred from the 13th TFS / 432nd TRW at Udorn to the 523rd TFS at Clark AB in the Philippines. The aicraft carries the MiG-kill marking that it had gained with its previous unit by shooting down a MiG-21 over North Vietnam on 16 April 1972. This aircraft is preserved at Warren County airport, Kentucky, USA. This photo was added on 16 October 2020, and has since been viewed 3513 times. |
