The 347th TFW had two deployments to Germany in 1977. In May 1977, the 68th TFS deployed to Jever under Coronet Shuffle. In November, the 70th TFS deployed to Bremgarten under Coronet Cardinal. 69-7235 was part of the latter deployment. It carries a MiG-kill marking for having shot down a MiG-21 over Vietnam in 1972. This aircraft was converted to F-4G in Janaury 1979 and then to QF-4G (and subsequently shot down itself on 5 May 1998).
