This RF-4C has a white tail and the markings Z17, indicating the 17th TRS and its home base of Zweibrücken. These markings were applied for the 1973 Royal Flush recce exercise at Florennes. The serial is visible on the nosewheel door. This Phantom crashed on 27 april 1979 in England, while operating with the 10th TRW.
