The accompanying text read: "The first of three Fokker 28's ordered by SATCO, the government owned airline of Peru. Servicio Aéreo de Transporte Comerciales is operated by the Peruvian Air Force as a civil domestic airline with normal scheduled services." The aircraft later became OB-R-397, then OB-1020. It was written off in an accident at Juliaca (SPJL) on October 25, 1988. The aircraft (now with Aeroperu) failed to gain altitude after departure from Juliaca and impacted a road and terrain broken apart by the events. Twelve out of 69 people on board lost their lives.
