Registered N41JA in 1971 by Britten-Norman distributor Jonas Aircraft, this Islander would fly with several local carriers before coming to Canada in 1980 for Air BC / Trans Provincial Airlines. In 1985, the aircraft was sold to Borealis Exploration Ltd. for Oil and Gas support. It was written off September 18, 1987 at Caribou Horn Lake, NT, the accident report providing no details.
