Delivered to SAS for Scandinavian Commuter as OY-KCA "Huge Viking" in January 2000, this Dash 8 was re-registered LN-RDP by March 2000. The airline had two Dash 8 accidents September 7 and 12, 2007 where a main landing gear collapsed on landing. They grounded the fleet until the aircraft were inspected. After suffering another landing gear incident (with an unrelated cause) on October 27, SAS withdrew the type from service. This aircraft was stored in Denmark until sold and flown to Sault Ste.
