One of the 13 aircraft assembled on the eastern boundary at Southend for the nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived from North Weald in 1967 where it was the gate guardian outside the HQ of 414 (Epping & North Weald) Sqdn Air Training Corps. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972 with most of the aircraft passing into its care.
