Delivered November 9, 1981, CF-THA would operate BWIA's last Tristar service and was parked at Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago January 28, 2003. Sold to Star Air as 9L-LED it re-registered to Star Jet as A6-BSM July 2005. While operating a flight for Olympic Airlines on July 4, 2005, the tri-jet suffered an engine failure in take off from Paris Charles de Gaulle. Investigators found several unsafe systems in the aircraft and the airplane remained in Paris. With little or no work done on the Tristar, it was finally broken up there in March 2017.
