Constructed as a C-47A-15-DL in 1943 and joined the USAF fleet in March 1943 as 42-23385. To NC48990, N990, N34116 and N66HL. To the Lauridsen Aviation Museum at Glendale in October 2004 as N243DC. However also listed as N23AJ on the same date. By October 2005 it was parked at Glendale without rudder and props. By March 2011 it was at the Lauridsen Aviation Museum in at Buckeye Municipal Airport (AZ) In February 2014, the registration was cancelled, but activated again in November 2015.
