Islander distributor Jonas Aircraft brought this aircraft to the USA in September 1974. Flying with Stol-Air (1975 - 1978), WestAir Commuter (1978 - 1979), it was in San Juan's fleet from 1979 - 85. It was registered in Canada as C-GIRH with Trillium Air on April 1986. Unfortunately is crashed into Lake Ontario during approach to Toronto Island airport January 12, 1987 after an engine failed.
