A severe cyclone named "Gafilo" hit Madagascar in March 2004. South Africa offered help and airlifted four Oryx helicopters to Antananarivo. 1237 is seen here after being flown in by an IL-76, re-assembled and ready for a technical flight, before assisting the relief efforts throughout the island.
