Circa 1955 this old Thunderjet was donated to a school in Glendale, CA, as an instructional airframe, and officially registered to the Glendale Unified School District as N2884D. It was still on the register as such by 1964, but had been cancelled by 1975. The aircraft arrived at the March Field Air Museum in 1982.
