One of ten DC-9-21s delivered to SAS in 1969 to meet the airline's requirement for a jet to use on Norwegian domestic services. The -21 mates the fuselage of a -10 with the wings and engines of the -30 making this a very fast and nimble aircraft. TAT and Air Alpes wet-leased the aircraft between October 1981 and October 1982.
