Built as an L-23D, delivered to the US Army around 1956 as 56-3701. Later redesignated as U-8D. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number UB0076 in August 1979. By 1991 it was located at Pima in the markings 0-63701, AL-NG of the Alabama Army National Guard. Between August 1991 and 1996, the markings you see in this photo were applied.
