This Viscount was originally delivered to BEA in May 1958. It went on to fly with Cambrian, British Airways, BAF, Air Algerie and Jersey Air ferries before joining Virgin Atlantic in December 1985. It retuned to BAF in May 1989 and was transferred to British World in April 1993, acquiring both a new registration in March 1994 when it became G-PFBT and the red Parcelfore colours. In May 1997 it was sold to Heli-Lift and ferried to Lanseria, SA. In April 2006 it was scrapped although the forward fulselage section is still extant. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
