This "Cadillac of the Skies" was awaiting some maintenance in between missions. The aircraft served Electronic Attack Squadron 137 (VAQ-137), also known as the "Rooks", during its CVW-1 deployment on board the Enterprise. After this cruise, the aircraft was transferred to VAQ-139 (NK-503) and then VAQ-142 (NH-505). It then started to serve the US Marine Corps with Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron (VMAQ) 4 (RM-007) and eventually VMAQ-2 (CY-05) until the Prowler was retired within that squadron in March 2018. Its current whereabouts are unknown (as of Feb21). This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
