Crashed near Tottenham, NSW, on November 24, 1969. A propeller blade snapped off while in flight. The resulting imbalance tore the engine from its mount but it failed to detach from the wing. The drag from the engine hanging down put VH-BJC into a fatal flat spin. The blade had failed due to corrosion
