This TriStar was delivered to British Airways in January 1975. It started flying with Caledonian in April 1990 and is pictured about to taxy out to rw23 for departure. The plane was stored in Abu Dhabi (AUH) in November 1999. Two years later it was purchased by Ducor World Airlines and registered 3C-QRQ. It underwent cargo conversion for International Air Services / Air Express Liberia as A9-AAA but ended up being stored at Ras Al Khaimah (RKT). Its next owner was Aircraft Machinery Works and registered TT-DAE but last reported in February 2016 as derelict at Bishkek (FRU). This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
