Phoenix Airways was based at Basle and operated a Boeing B707 and this single BAC 1-11 until the company ceased operations in 1974. The BAC 1-11 was sold to Austral as LV-LOX, however, on 07/MAY/81 it crashed into sea on approach to Buenos Aires in bad weather. - slide from the NK collection.
