A D-Day veteran that transported parachute troops to a drop zone near Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy. Taken on strength by Denmark in October 1956 and later took part in the movie A Bridge Too Far. Sold to Valiant Air Command as N3240A in October 1982 and cancelled as expired on 30 April 2013. This photo was added on 23 March 2021, and has since been viewed 605 times. |
