This is former PH-MAR, a DC-9-33RC of Martinair. The aircraft was delivered in April 1969 and served the Dutch company until late 1982. It became N909DC with McDonnel Douglas and was converted for military service. The DC-9 was delivered to the US Navy in June 1983, was redesignated to C-9B, and served VR-51 until the mid-nineties. Was transferred to VR-52 (initially named Spirit of Valley Forge, later Spirit of Somerset County) and retired from US Navy service in October 2003.
