This 727 was originally delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABKQ in December1978. It went to Istanbul Airlines in June 1992 and is pictured taxying on to stand after arriving from Turkey. The plane joined TAME Ecuador in February 1999 as HC-BZS but was transferred to the Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana FAE-620 in July 2009. The plane is presumed to have been withdrawn from use by 2018 and stored but its exact fate remains uncertain. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
