K25 slide scan. Delivered 1969, leased to GAS Airlines August 1987. Tail logo has already been removed in preparation for lease. As there are no further sightings it is assumed the aircraft remained in Nigeria after the lease ended in 1989. The One Eleven had been stuck with engine trouble for several days. In pre mobile phone times her crew relied on HF radio communications with their Bucharest base.
