Quebecair registered this Convair in April 1986. It was originally a Convair 340 delivered to Continental Airlines as N90855 in 1953. Converted to a 580 by North Central Airlines in 1968, C-GQBN survived airline name changes to Inter-Canadien and Intair, before sold to Conifair Aviation in 1991. It was withdrawn from use in 1994.
