K25 slide scan. Delivered 1972 to Bavaria, merged into Bavaria Germanair 1977, merged into Hapag Lloyd 1979. BCAL G-BJRU 1981, JARO YR-JBB 1993, leases to Air Alfa 1994, Astanair 1997, Red Sea Air 1999. Withdrawn Baneasa 2001, scrapped 2006. Appropriately registered D-ANUE lifts off from runway 28. Taking over Bavaria Germanair in 1979 Hapag Lloyd inherited seven BAC 1-11 500 series which would not last very long. Only five were to receive the new colours with D-ANUE and D-ALFA being the last to be retired in October 1981.
