This MD-81 was originally delivered to Swissair in May 1981 and is pictured taxying out to rw23 for departure home. It was withdrawn in March 1995 and then went to SAS as OY-KIH until withdrawn in October 2000. It then returned across the Atlantic to join Midwest Express as N813ME in March 2001 (just Midwest by March 2003) until storage at Blytheville (BYH). However, it avoided the axeman and is now preserved as a private residence since December 2011 at Sport Flyers Airport (27XS), Brookshire, Texas. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
