Originally built by De Havilland Australia for South Africa as DX760, but delivered to RAAF as A17-667 24 Nov 43. Wartime service with 10 EFTS, then selected for post-war retention. Based RAAF East Sale in the '50s. Overhauled by De Havilland in '52 & allocated new cn T11. Later allocated for use as ground training aid and re-serialed as Inst No. 11.
