This 744 flew with United from April 1992 until it was ferried for storage to Pinal Air Park (Marana) (MZJ) in April 2005. Fortunately, it was rescued from the Land of Sand by Corsair in November 2005. The plane was originally registered F-WLUV but this was quickly changed to F-HLOV. In May 2013 the plane was retired from the fleet and ferried to Kemble (GBA) forstorage and it was eventually scrapped in November 2015. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
