slide scan from the NK collection. - One of the few DC-8's which is preserved in a museum! Recently seen at Detroit-Willow Run MI (in March 2021), this aircraft was never converted into a -73 version, and it served as a freighter with Murray Air / National Airlines as N865F until 2012. Much earlier, Austrian Airlines used the DC-8 for about one year only - obviously no economical success in the Austrian fleet.
