Long after having visited this location, did I learn that this specific C-119 had been a navigation trainer with two (extra) astrodomes in the rear fuselage. The openings in the ceiling to the domes where sextants could be used by trainees can be seen here. The standard astrodome is logically located just behind the flight deck.
