This Tiger was built by DHA Mascot to an RAAF order as A17-160, brought on charge on 18 November 1940. Spent its wartime life at 9 EFTS Cunderdin, WA, with periods at MacRobertson Miller Airlines for overhaul and repair following several accidents. Sold in January 1946 to the Royal Aero Club of WA, registered VH-AMQ, and operated until destroyed in a crash at Maylands on 2 March 1953. Restored many years later and re-registered VH-JME on 28 May 1993. RAAF 90th Anniversary Air Pilgrimage.
