This DC-3 flew around the world in 1986 as C-FGXW to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the DC-3 and the World's Fair on Transportation and Communication held in Vancouver. It departed on its two month journey from Vancouver on June 10, 1986. The story of this journey is told in Propliner issue No.28. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
