slide scan from the NK collection. - ITAVIA owned 5 of the short-version DC-9s, and I-TIGB was the newest one obtained from Aeropostal of Venezuela in 1977. Together with three sister ships, the aircraft was sold to Airborne Express in 1983; this one was dbr as N926AX when it stalled on take off from Philadelphia on 06/FEB/85.
