This aircraft was built for Skytraders' Antarctic operations on behalf of the Commonwealth Government. The retractable skis were designed and certificated in Australia. The aircraft was registered new as VH-VHB on 7 July 2004 and delivered to Australia in August that year. Named 'Gadget'.
