Photo described as 'opening of Fornebu' but neutrality markings and blacked-out windows make clear the shot was taken after the outbreak of WWII. The aircraft seems to be painted orange overall. We assume ABA service to Oslo ceased with the German invasion in Norway. Date may be 22 November 1939 when SE-AFA flew the first service between Stockholm and Perth in Scotland, as an alternative to London, with a very experienced crew - Bernt Balchen and Karl Gunnar Lindner.
